Day 2 of the Catalina Film Fest was all about the independent drama, Big Sur. We talked to director Michael Polish and actress Kate Bosworth, who recently got married after meeting on the set, about the adaptation from novel to film. Plus, Michael lets us in on a couple of “Michael Polish” surprises. We also chatted with Jean-Marc Barr, who plays Jack Kerouac, about his personal admiration for his character.

Big Sur opens in theaters November 1st.
